Hua Cheng's first impressions are over on his info page. However I have some notes here for your characters in case they have certain powers that are relevant, since Hua Cheng is a ghost king!

EVIL SENSE.

If your character can sense evil, they will be able to see Hua Cheng from a mile away. In fact, Hua Cheng leaves evil cooties sometimes during close contact, for those who have a very tuned sense. You can feel free to do this if this is one of your character's traits, no need to ask permission.

DEAD SENSE.

Likewise, if your character can sense that someone is dead, it should be extremely easy for your character to sense that Hua Cheng is dead, even when he is disguised. There is no need to ask permission to do so.

SPIRITUAL POWER SENSE.

If your character can sense spiritual power, they may feel a lot of it coming from Hua Cheng. He doesn't realize it's a thing he has to hide. You do not need my permission to do this, if this is something your character should be able to suss out!

WEAKNESSES.

Hua Cheng is naturally susceptible to anything that generally affects other ghosts, demons or evil. For instance, when Mount Tong'lu opens up, all the ghosts lose their minds. However, he is not weak to things that are holy, as he technically functions as a priest himself. Depending on how strong the shields are, he is susceptible to anti-demon barriers and talismans. He is probably not susceptible to being controlled via demonic cultivation by the power of the yin iron alone, though maybe by a different power source (or if his power is subdued.)

These are some of Hua Cheng's powers that either he uses in canon without asking express permission or that are unique to him that I think might serve as a cool springboard to do some plotting. If any of these ever come up in a thread I will ask at the time if you're cool with it, but let me know if any of these are things you're definitely interested in playing with or definitely would never want even to be brought up!

COMMUNICATION ARRAY.

There is a canon way of talking to each other via telepathy. However, one's thoughts are protected behind a wall and can only be accessed with a password. Please let me know if your character can read minds and Hua Cheng might give them his password.

Additionally, please let me know if you want Hua Cheng to be able to communicate with your character telepathically. He won't try if he doesn't know the character's password, but he'll be confused when he realizes that most people don't. Have passwords.

MEMORY SHARE.

For some reason Hua Cheng can share memories if he's physically connected through foreheads with your character. He is reluctant to do this if you're not Xie Lian so let me know if you'd like to be given information in this way at some point in time.

SOUL SWAP.

Even though usually one needs a password to get into someone else's head, the body swap/soul swap spell is the one way around that since it's usually so rare that no one uses it. It basically works like possession. Even though this is usually done without permission, I would never OOC employ this without asking. Please let me know if you want to play with this in some way.

SPIRITUAL ENERGY.

Do you need a lil spiritual energy? Hua Cheng has a lot of it to spare and often accidentally rubs some off during uhh... physical contact. Please let me know if you would like to borrow some, although, if your name isn't Xie Lian he'll literally smack it into you instead of a nicer way.

DARUMA DOLLS.

Oftentimes when Hua Cheng is mad at someone or in order to diffuse a situation, he'll transform that person into an armless and legless doll and carry them around until they start behaving or he's shown them the thing he wanted to show them. I won't actually do this unless you specifically want to be turned into a doll and carried, but let me know if you'd like to be turned into one!

FIGHTING.

Though we'll probably talk about it before getting our characters into a fight, sometimes threads just kind of go in that direction. Hua Cheng won't attack without provocation, and he won't attack baseline humans or children at all. Please let me know if you actually want to get in a fight for some reason, or you want to team up for something!
